Geoffrey w. Preckshot practices criminal law in the Columbia - Fulton area and appears in the Courts of the 13th Circuit
and the Municipal Courts of the City of Columbia. After more than twenty years of legal practice Mr. Preckshot has the
experience a citizen needs when accused of violating the laws of this State and the Community. Each
of us, as everyday citizens of the United States and Missouri, have rights under our Constitution when accused of a crime.
The right to remain silent – not to be forced to give evidence against oneself – is one. Likewise the right to
confront one's accusers. However, one of the most important of those rights is the right to have an attorney to stand between
you and the State. An attorney who will speak for you in Court, an attorney who will understand the Law, the legal
system and the other players on the field (the Police, the Prosecutor, the Judge).
